Prosjekt MD/Project MD is a jazz music project, celebrating the electric jungle grooves that Miles Davis experimented with between 1969 and 1975. The band consists of between eight and twelve musicians, and has played gigs at various Oslo jazz clubs since 2012.
The band’s first CD ”Live at The Organ Club” was released by Zonic Entertainment/Hot Club Records in 2016. It can be ordered from me via e-mail. It is also available at all streaming sites, such as Spotify, and also on Youtube. Here you can read/download my essay on Miles Davis, printed in the CD booklet.
Recently, Project MD has launched a series of concerts to celebrate the 50th anniversaries of legendary Miles Davis albums. The two first concerts have been arranged as part of The Organ Club concert series at the Cosmopolite concert hall in Oslo, Norway.
